Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from September 12, 2026 at 10:13 PM EDT until September 13, 2026 at 2:15 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Lewis and Roane counties in West Virginia. Specific areas include Southeastern Roane County, Central Braxton County, Southeastern Calhoun County, Northwestern Clay County, Southeastern Gilmer County and Central Lewis County. Locations impacted include Weston, Gassaway, Stonewall Jackson, Big Otter, Jackson Mill, Wallback, Burnsville, Jane Lew, Flatwoods, Exchange, Heaters, Wilsie, Frametown, Rosedale, Sand Run, Servia, Nicut, Walkersville, Nebo and Chloe. Highways affected include Interstate 79 between mile markers 29 and 51 and between mile markers 70 and 105, and Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 7.
