Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Albuquerque NM. Effective from 3:49 PM MDT September 25 until 6:45 PM MDT September 25. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico. Specific locations include Tinnie, Hondo and Sunset. Also affects U.S. Highway 380 between Mile Markers 284 and 300.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches possible. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
