A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Springfield MO. This alert is effective from 7:07 PM CDT on April 17, 2026, until 1:15 AM CDT on April 18, 2026.

Thunderstorms are producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has already fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible. This will cause flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
