Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Mount Holly NJ. Effective from August 5, 2026 at 2:17 PM EDT until August 5, 2026 at 6:15 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Bucks County and southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania. Locations that may experience flash flooding include Philadelphia, Lansdale, East Norriton, Doylestown, Hatboro, Ambler, Chalfont, New Hope, Yardley, Newtown, Abington and Langhorne. Highways include Northeast Extension between mile markers 21 and 28 and Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 333 and 349.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain, do not attempt to cross flooded roads; find an alternate route.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain beginning to move into the warned area with an expected rainfall rate of 0.5 to 1 inch in 30 minutes. Rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
