Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Tucson AZ. Effective from September 11 at 6:31 PM MST until September 11 at 9:30 PM MST.
Affected Areas
South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona. Specific locations include San Miguel, Vamori, Cowlic, Choulic, Newfield, Coldfields, Itak and Hashan Chuchg. Includes Indian Route 20 at Cowlic and streams/drainages such as Fresnal Wash, Vamori Wash, Chukut Kuk Wash, Topawa Wash, Baboquivari Wash, Bailey Wash, Chutum Vaya Wash and Big Wash.

At 6:31 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
