Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from August 17 at 9:49 PM EDT until August 18 at 12:45 AM EDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Northeastern Kanawha County in central West Virginia. Specific locations include Charleston, Sissonville, Clendenin, Elkview, Pinch and Coal Fork. Affected highways include Interstate 77 between mile markers 100 and 116 and Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 17.
