Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN. Effective from September 18 at 10:59PM CDT until September 19 at 1:00AM CDT.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Blue Earth County, Northeastern Faribault County, Northwestern Freeborn County, Southwestern Steele County, and Southern Waseca County in south central Minnesota. Specific locations include New Richland, Ellendale, Minnesota Lake, Geneva, Hartland and Matawan.

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible.
