Navajo County in north central Arizona, southeast of Indian Wells. Specific locations include Twin Buttes. Creeks, washes and rivers: Pueblo Colorado Wash, Steamboat Wash, Bidahochi Wash and Leroux Wash.
What You Should Do
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become flooded as well. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Low water crossings will become dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.5 inches possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
