Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Indianapolis IN. Effective from June 21 at 8:09 PM EDT until June 21 at 11:00 PM EDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Southwestern Monroe County in south central Indiana and northeastern Greene County in southwestern Indiana. Specific locations include Bloomington, Solsberry, Harrodsburg, Smithville and Fairfax State Recreation Area.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Expected Conditions
At 8:09 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is already occurring.
