Affected Areas
West Central Greenbrier County and Northeastern Summers County in southeastern West Virginia. Specific locations include Rainelle, Rupert, Quinwood, Sandstone, Meadow Bluff, Lawn, and Elton. Streams and drainages include Kitchen Creek, Lick Creek, Beaver Creek, Laurel Creek, Boggs Creek, Eagle Branch, Burdette Creek, Little Clear Creek, Meadow River, Meadow Creek, Fisher Creek, Little Creek, and Big Clear Creek.

Expected Conditions
At 7:58 PM EDT, thunderstorms producing heavy rain with 1.5 to 2 inches fallen and an additional 0.5 to 1.5 inches possible. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Impacts include flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Flooded roads reported across the Town of Rupert including Route 60.
