Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Southern Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Northwestern Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Glenville, Grantsville, West Union, Cedar Creek State Park, Arnoldsburg, Pullman, Auburn, Tanner, Burnt House, Newberne, Big Springs, Coxs Mills, Normantown, Berea, Stumptown, Troy, Mount Zion, Shock, Millstone and Grove. This includes Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 48 and 60.
