Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Tulsa OK. Effective from 2026-05-23T20:14:00-05:00 until 2026-05-23T23:15:00-05:00. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
North Central Crawford County in northwestern Arkansas and Southeastern Washington County in northwestern Arkansas. Specific locations include Winslow, Brentwood, Blackburn, Devils Den State Park, Mount Gayler, Wyola, Arnett, and Durham.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement.
