Colbert County in northwestern Alabama and central Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama. Specific locations that will experience flash flooding include Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Killen, Cherokee, Littleville, Leighton, St. Florian, Underwood-Petersville, Waterloo, Pride Landing, Oakland, Red Rock, Barton, Posey Loop, New Bethel, Colbert Heights, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport and Mt Hester.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in these areas. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
