Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has produced between 4 and locally 7 inches since around 8 PM Saturday evening. Severe flash flooding is occurring with numerous water rescues taking place in the Mt. Airy and Pilot Mountain areas. Rutledge Creek, Seed Cane Creek, Faulkner Creek, and the Ararat River are flowing out of their banks.
