Extreme Heat Warning issued by NWS Salt Lake City UT. Effective from August 1 at 9:06 PM MDT through August 2 at 9:00 PM MDT.

Lower Washington County; Zion National Park; South Central Utah; Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity; Western Canyonlands; Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell.
What You Should Do
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Move anyone overcome by heat to a cool and shaded location and call 911 if heat stroke is suspected.
Expected Conditions
Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 110. Warm overnight lows in the 70s will offer little relief. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
