The notice as issued

* WHAT...Northeast winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected. * WHERE...Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas and Southeast New Mexico. * WHEN...From 6 PM MDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening to noon MDT /1 PM CDT/ Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Damaging winds may topple a few trees and possibly knock out some power lines. Damage to weaker structures is also possible. Severe turbulence near the mountains will be hazardous for low flying light aircraft.

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Delay travel through Guadalupe Pass or find another route, if possible. Use caution if flying low near the mountains as severe turbulence is possible.
