The notice as issued
* WHAT...South winds 40 to 60 mph with gusts up to 80 mph, strongest winds will be in Adak. * WHERE...Atka and Adak. * WHEN...From 5 PM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong, gusty southerly winds will increase across Adak and Atka, late Wednesday afternoon, with the strongest winds in Adak expected Wednesday evening. Wind gusts at Atka will be up to 70 mph. Winds will diminish early Thursday morning, as the winds shift westerly.
