The notice as issued

* WHAT...South winds 40 to 60 mph with gusts up to 80 mph. Strongest winds will be in Adak. * WHERE...Atka and Adak. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 4 AM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong, gusty southerly winds will increase across Adak and Atka, late this afternoon, with the strongest winds in Adak expected this evening. Wind gusts at Atka will be up to 70 mph. Winds will diminish early Thursday morning, as the winds shift westerly.
