* WHAT...Very steep and hazardous seas of 13 to 15 feet expected. * WHERE...Guam and Rota Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 5 AM ChST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause damage to vessels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds have diminished enough to allow the Gale Warning to expire. However, an elevated southwesterly monsoon swell will allow hazardous seas to persist through tonight.

A hazardous seas warning means hazardous sea conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in port...or take shelter until waves subside. Commercial vessels should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
