* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, southwest winds 25 to 30 kt with frequent gusts up to 40 kt and seas 12 to 14 feet. For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 10 to 12 feet expected. * WHERE...Tinian and Saipan Coastal Waters. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 10 PM ChST this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 5 PM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As Typhoon Choi-wan (26W) moves north- northeast and away from the islands, a strong monsoon surge will continue across the area. Strong to near-gale force winds with frequent gale-force gusts will continue over Tinian and Saipan coastal waters through the late evening, gradually diminishing through late tonight.
