* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Saipan and Tinian. * WHEN...Through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Tropical Storm Choi-wan (26W) is passing through the northern CNMI to the north of Tinian and Saipan, bringing heavy rainfall. After Choi-wan's passage this weekend, a trailing monsoon inflow band will maintain wet conditions into early next week, resulting in 5 to 8 inches of rain for Tinian and Saipan during the Watch period. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
