* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following areas, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Martin, Coastal Saint Lucie, Coastal Volusia, Inland Indian River, Inland Martin, Inland Northern Brevard, Inland Saint Lucie, Inland Southern Brevard, Inland Volusia, Mainland Northern Brevard, Mainland Southern Brevard, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands, Northern Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Southern Brevard Barrier Islands and Southern Lake. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and storms will develop this afternoon into the early evening, and will be capable of producing heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated totals of 5 to 7 inches possible. This may lead to flash flooding for some locations, especially for those areas that have already seen recent heavy rainfall. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
