* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Fisher, Haskell, Irion, Jones, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Shackelford, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor, Throckmorton and Tom Green. * WHEN...Through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is an increased danger to lives and property due to flash flooding. Flash flooding is likely and considerable flash flooding is possible. - Multiple rounds of heavy rain are possible through Thursday night as an influx of tropical moisture arrives. This will coincide with an approaching upper level low pressure system and an associated frontal boundary. High precipitable water values will support efficient rainfall production with this activity. Showers and thunderstorms capable of producing rainfall totals in the 2 to 4 inch range are forecast across the watch area.
