* WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Washington County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1108 PM EDT, the gauge on the Little Muskingum River at Bloomfield was at 15.6 feet. The river is anticipated to rise just above Minor Flood Stage (16.0 feet) overnight. Flooding is expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... What the agency told people to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
