...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Mill Creek Near Paxico affecting Wabaunsee County. Vermillion Creek near Wamego affecting Pottawatomie County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mill Creek near Paxico. * WHEN...From this evening to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low lying farm fields and campsites along the creek begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
