The notice as issued
* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Scott County in east central Iowa... * WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 303 PM CDT, Emergency management reported an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Duck Creek is out of its banks and several roads have been closed in Davenport and Bettendorf. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
