...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Nebraska... Wahoo Creek At Ithaca affecting Saunders County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wahoo Creek at Ithaca. * WHEN...From early this morning to Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, The levee protecting Ithaca is likely to fail as water would be overtopping it at this level. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:45 AM CDT Thursday was 20.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.6 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.5 feet on 06/20/1960. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
