...The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska... Wahoo Creek At Ithaca affecting Saunders County. Additional information is available at water.noaa.gov. The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 1100 AM CDT. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wahoo Creek at Ithaca. * WHEN...From Thursday morning to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, The access road south of town is likely to flood. In addition, a low spot along Highway 66 just east of the gage site will flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 5.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 21.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.8 feet on 06/09/1967. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
