Additional information is available at water.noaa.gov. The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 945 AM CDT. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...West Fork Big Blue River near Dorchester. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, The county road about 500 feet north of the gage begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 23.2 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.6 feet on 07/01/1986. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
