...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Republican River near Scandia affecting Republic County. Republican River at Clay Center affecting Clay County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Republican River near Scandia. * WHEN...From late tonight to Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Lowlands along the river flood. At 11.0 feet, Low lying rural roads flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 3.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is forecast to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 10.4 feet. There is forecast to be a second crest of 10.4 feet Thursday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday night. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
