Vermillion Creek near Wamego affecting Pottawatomie County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Vermillion Creek near Wamego. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs along Vermillion Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 20.6 feet. It will then fall below flood stage after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
