Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River at Sharps Station. * WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Low-lying rural land along the river begins to flood. At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of Highway B. At 30.5 feet, Interurban Road floods about 1.5 miles southeast of Sharps Station. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 29.2 feet early Sunday morning.
