* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Indiana, including the following county, Pike. * WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 210 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in several county roads remain flooded. Between 4 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... What the agency told people to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
