Cedar River at Austin affecting Mower County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Austin. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The city of Austin takes specific actions to warn people and businesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current river reading for this location. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 16.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.1 feet on 03/11/1973. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
