Cedar River at Austin affecting Mower County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River near Lansing. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 18.6 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.3 feet on 06/17/2014. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

What the agency told people to do
