Solomon River At Beloit affecting Mitchell County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Solomon River at Beloit. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Flooding occurs in the Beloit city park and fairgrounds. Rural lowlands outside of Beloit flood at 18 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.7 feet, which is 2.7 feet above minor flood stage of 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and continue to gradually fall to near 2.7 feet around Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
