Republican River at Clay Center affecting Clay County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Solomon River near Glasco affecting Cloud County. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Black Vermillion River near Frankfort. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding of lowland areas occurs along the river from Vermillion to the mouth of the Black Vermillion River. At 26.0 feet, The west bank of the river floods. At 27.5 feet, Area in the vicinity of 19th Terrace and Vista Roads floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 25.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
