Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Washington and Marshall Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...From late Thursday night to late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, south of the river and east of Highway 148 floods. At 23.0 feet, Sunflower Road floods about 250 feet east of the Little Blue River in Marshall county. Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, floods north of the river and west of Highway 148 in Washington county. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning to a crest of 22.4 feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
