Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Marshall and Washington Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...From Friday morning to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding occurs from 15th Road and Zenith Road in Washington County to Waterville in Marshall County. At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. At 19.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, south of the river and east of Highway 148 floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.1 feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
