Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Marshall and Washington Counties. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. At 19.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, south of the river and east of Highway 148 floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
