* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Morgan County in north central Alabama... West Central Marshall County in northeastern Alabama... * WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 913 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Lingering flooding will continue to subside over the next 2 hours from the between 3 and 4 inches of rain that fell earlier this evening. Please continue to heed any road closures! - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Arab, Falkville, Morgan City, Somerville, Eva, Union Grove, Florette, Ryan Crossroads, Valhermoso Springs, Hulaco, Laceys Spring, Eddy, Cole Springs and Lacon.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
