Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St, or from below the Center Street dam to Runnells. * WHEN...Until this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, The bike trail is closed east of Water St. Water affects portions of other bike trails. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.0 feet, and falling. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.1 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
