Skunk River at Augusta affecting Des Moines, Henry IA and Lee Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...North Skunk River near Sigourney. * WHEN...From this evening to Monday night. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening to 20.2 feet Friday afternoon. It is expected to fall below flood stage on Monday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
