...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa... Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. English River at Kalona affecting Johnson and Washington Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...English River at Kalona. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Water begins going over several county roads, including 13th St, Kiwi Ave, Orange Ave and Poplar Ave. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
