Root River Near Houston affecting Houston County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Root River near Houston. * WHEN...From this evening to late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 15.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.5 feet on 09/27/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

What the agency told people to do
