...The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Florida... Little Manatee River At Wimauma at US 301 affecting Hillsborough County. .Due to recent heavy rainfall, water levels are rising on the Little Manatee River at Wimauma. Additional heavy rainfall is forecast today. If this rainfall materializes, the river is forecast to reach minor flood stage early tomorrow morning. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Manatee River at Wimauma at US 301. * WHEN...From late tonight to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 11.6 feet, Water reaches the top of the bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 11.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8 feet on 10/03/1957. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
