For the Upper Gila...including Gila River at Calva, Gila River at Duncan, Gila River near Solomon, Gila River At Kelvin, San Carlos Reservoir at Coolidge Dam...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Gila River near Gila River near Solomon. * WHEN...From late tonight to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, Bridges in Safford Valley closed and extensive agricultural flooding. Homes and structures closest to the river threatened. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM MST Tuesday the stage was 8.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 14.9 feet this evening. It will then rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 22.5 feet late tonight.
