* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Geary County in east central Kansas... North Central Wabaunsee County in east central Kansas... Northwestern Jackson County in northeastern Kansas... Southeastern Nemaha County in northeastern Kansas... Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas... Southern Riley County in northeastern Kansas... * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 442 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to storms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen today alone. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch is possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Manhattan, Junction City, Wamego, Westmoreland, Ogden, Onaga, St. George, Milford, Louisville, Circleville, Corning, Soldier, Havensville, Wheaton, Tuttle Creek Lake, Keats and Milford Lake.
