* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Geary County in east central Kansas... Northwestern Morris County in east central Kansas... * WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Junction City, Grandview Plaza, White City, Dwight, Parkerville and Council Grove Lake. - This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 298 and 302.
