The notice as issued
* WHAT...Flooding caused by recent excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Along the West Fork Big Blue River in Southeastern York County in east central Nebraska and Northwestern Fillmore County in south central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 824 AM CDT, the gauge along the West Fork Big Blue River north of Grafton was at 12.7 feet, which was above minor flood stage of 11.0 feet. As a result, fairly widespread flooding of pastures and fields immediately adjacent to the river continues, including downstream through the McCool Junction area. Based on trends at the Grafton gauge, water levels appear to have crested and have started a very slow, gradual drop that should continue over the next few days. However, it now appears that the river will likely remain above flood stage until at least sometime on Sunday, prompting this Warning to be extended out farther in time. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... McCool Junction. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
